When Partners Healthcare and Harvard Medical International merged their non-profit consulting organizations in 2008 they needed to also merge the content and a variety of existing websites, blogs, and client portals in to a consolidated online experience. I was hired to consult on the project by providing a user experience architecture plan that met the complex needs of this international organization. The site needed to present the expertise and projects of PHMI, offer easy access to client information, feature current work and project history, as well as encourage new client inquiries. I lead brainstorming sessions with the client, conducted user research, consulted on content migration, and worked with the design and engineering team at Tank Design to produce the site. The final experience combined case studies with a social profile approach to the content presentation.
